I am Jolanta, the owner and lead repair-person behind Boards And Heartbreak.
I fell in love with SUP in 2024 and since quickly progressed to high performance boards, pushing myself almost daily in training. I’ve also became a serious equipment geek, and my boards are my prized possessions.
Pushing yourself can result in damages to your gear, and that is exactly what happened to me. I know how important reliable repairs are, for longevity, timeliness and performance. And, for taming the heartbreak that comes with it all…
I now help other paddlers like myself, offering repairs to most composite, thermoformed and inflatable SUPs, your water-wear and most paddles.
Based in North Saanich, BC.
My Process:
Once I receive your equipment in the shop, I will inspect it to diagnose any issue(s);
I will then let you know of estimated repairs, need for parts and timelines for your approval;
If approved, we will proceed with the repairs/ ordering parts (if applicable);
I will ensure the appropriate times to cure any materials, such as adhesives;
Once the repairs are finalized, I will handover the fixed equipment back to you.
For part orders, a deposit will be required prior to ordering.
I use marine and industrial grade materials and supplies, sourced from trusted local suppliers as much as possible.
